Meet Dr. Jake Dorfman

Dr. Jake Dorfman grew up in nearby Richboro, PA and is proud to come home and create beautiful smiles in Bucks County and the greater Philadelphia area. Dr. Jake graduated from Council Rock South High School where he was a member of the ice hockey and basketball teams. Following high school, Dr. Jake attended Penn State University where he graduated with honors and received a Bachelor’s degree in Biobehavioral Health.

After completing a one-year dental internship in New York City, he went on to attend Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry. There, he earned his DMD degree and graduated Summa Cum Laude. He was also inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.

After dental school, Dr. Jake continued at Temple University for his orthodontic specialty training where he also received a Master’s Degree in Oral Biology for his research on dental biomaterials. 

Dr. Jake worked as an associate orthodontist in the Lehigh Valley prior to joining Dorfman Orthodontic Group. It was during this time that Dr. Jake earned his Board Certification from the American Board of Orthodontics, an achievement that shows his commitment to quality care and lifelong education. 

Personally, he and his wife Claire are proud parents to their daughter, Sloane. When Dr. Jake is not straightening teeth, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, down the shore with a book in his hand, on a golf course, and cheering on all of the Philly sports teams!
