Retainers for Life? (Believe it!)
Orthodontic treatment for yourself or your child is an investment in improved self-confidence for a successful journey through life. We are grateful to be your orthodontist and want to do everything we can for you to protect your smile and self-confidence after you finish treatment with us.
Traditionally, one set of orthodontic retainers are included as part of comprehensive orthodontic treatment. Our office does things differently. Utilizing state-of-the-art intraoral scanners and 3D printers, we are able to offer Retainers For Life included in your treatment fee at no additional charge!
For any new patient of our practice, we will replace your retainers at no additional charge as long as a new set of retainers can be made from the 3D models that you receive when you finish treatment.
Your dog ate your retainers?
Retainers got thrown away with your lunch?
Your brother broke your retainers?
If your retainers are lost or broken, for any reason, we will make new ones for free using your 3D models (so don't lose them or let your teeth shift).
With so many great orthodontists out there, we don't take it for granted that you chose us to be your orthodontist. Retainers for Life is our way of making exceptional orthodontics more affordable and a simple way for us to say thanks :) At our practice, you are part of our family for life!

You've worked hard for your beautiful smile; lets keep it that way!
Finally, your braces have been removed and your smile is beautiful, straight, and best of all, metal-free! However, your orthodontic journey isn't quite completed. To keep your smile looking its best, you'll have to wear a retainer to preserve and stabilize your results. Retainers are needed to control or limit potential changes in tooth position. They are used after braces treatment to hold teeth in their correct alignment while the surrounding gums, bone, and muscle adjust to the new positioning of your teeth.
Types of Orthodontic Retainers
Retainers are custom-made and can be removable or fixed.
- Traditional removable retainers typically include a metal wire that surrounds the front teeth and is attached to an acrylic arch that sits in the roof of the mouth.
- Aligner-style retainers, or Essix retainers, look similar to clear aligners and offer a more aesthetic alternative to wire retainers.
- Fixed retainers consist of wires bonded behind the bottom and/or top teeth.
